  is seeking to appoint a Part-Time

Level 2 Teaching Assistant - Temporary contract until Summer 2024

Working 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday), 39 weeks per year

Commencing: as soon as possible


St Mary’s Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a committed Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant team of enthusiastic, hardworking individuals. We would love you to take your place with us in this fantastic role!


About You

The ideal candidate will be an individual who:

·       Has experience of working with children or as a Teaching Assistant

·       Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

·       Is enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children’s life chances through education

·       Is highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload

·       Can work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents and pupils

·       Has a ‘can-do’ attitude and has the ability to use their initiative

·       Can work flexibly and professionally
