Level 3 Class Teaching Assistant job summary

We are seeking to appoint two Level 3 Class Teaching Assistants to join our highly inclusive place of learning in a happy and positive school environment. You will be an enthusiastic, resilient and adaptable individual, able to work well as a member of our team. You will also have a genuine interest and enjoyment of children and be able to respond to them professionally with a quiet authority. In conjunction with the classroom teacher, you will adapt lessons and teaching styles to meet the needs of individual children and small groups. You will also take responsibility for encouraging and promoting inclusion in the classroom, ensuring all pupils feel involved with tasks and activities. Previous experience, a relevant qualification/training and knowledge of British Sign Language is highly desirable. We are looking to create a support staff team with a range of specialisms and experience. If you feel you have something special to share with our school, please apply! We are a 3 form entry Junior School, federated with Nene Infant School, sponsored by The Elliot Foundation Academies Trust. Ramnoth has undergone an extension program, with 12 new classrooms and a separate dining hall. This base now houses our Y1 to Y6 children.

Our Nene base provides education for our youngest children. We have 3 Reception classes and a Nursery (Little Owls) which is open 8.00am-6.00pm, 48 weeks per year.
