Level 3 Early Years Practitioner Nursery Nurse job summary

As a Level 3 Nursery Nurse / Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in shaping the very first steps of a child’s educational journey. You will create a nurturing, faith-filled environment where children feel secure, valued, and inspired to explore. Your work will not only support their early learning but also help them develop the values, confidence and love of learning that will stay with them for life.

What You'll Do

Support the teacher in planning, preparing, and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.

Foster a warm, inclusive environment where every child feels safe, respected and encouraged to thrive.

Observe, assess and record children's progress.

Communicate clearly with parents and careers

Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development, modelling positive behaviour and empathy.

Work collaboratively with colleagues, the wider school team and the parish community to enrich the Nursery experience.

Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, health and safety are maintained at all times.

Contribute to the spiritual life of the school through participation in prayer, celebrations, and faith-based activities.
