We are currently looking for two Level 3 Teaching Assistants.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team!
Job title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
Salary: ALT Grade E + Retention Allowance, £22,493.30 - £23,402.62 (actual salary)
Working Pattern: Monday 8.30am to 4.00pm, Tuesday to Friday 8.40am to 3.30pm
Start date: December 2025
About Us:
Highfield Littleport Academy is an area special school which is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. Highfield Littleport has 146 students on roll. The age range is 2 and 19 years of age and all pupils have Education, Health and Care Plans for a wide range of Special Educational Needs.
What do we need from a level 3 teaching assistant?
- Significant experience working with children with a preference for experience working with children with additional needs.
- The ability to take responsibility for delivering learning activities when the teacher is not present (typically PPA cover or sickness absence cover)
- Must support the teacher in assessment, classroom organisation and behaviour management.
- Establish and maintain supportive relationships with individual pupils, colleagues and parents/carers
