What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for enthusiastic, highly skilled, committed and flexible Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. Portland Spencer Academy is part of the Spencer Academies Trust and as such benefits from a range of opportunities for further development.
We are looking for someone who:
- has relevant qualifications and training in line with the new DFE qualifications list. i.e. NVQ/CACHE in working with children
- can offer outstanding support for teaching
- is keen to lead in a classroom as part of a team
- has experience of supporting teaching and learning across school from EYFS to KS2
- has a wide range of behaviour management techniques
- has a commitment to making a difference to children’s lives
- has drive and an enthusiastic approach to work as positive member of an excellent team
- is flexible to support has excellent literacy, numeracy and ICT skill
has an ability to foster strong relationships with pupils, parents/carers and other professionals
