Robert Shaw Primary and Nursery School is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and hard-working Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning in the classroom to maximise the participation of our children. The role will include complementing the class teachers’ delivery of the national curriculum, work collaboratively with teaching staff assisting in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources and deliver high-quality lessons following the planning given.

You will:

• be able to provide creative, inspiring and enriching learning opportunities

Robert Shaw Primary is a 420 place school and a 52 place Nursery in Nottingham City, it was opened in 1950 and serves the local communities of Ainsley, Aspley and Beechdale.
At our most recent OFSTED Inspection in January 2014 we were judged to be in the “Requires Improvement” category. Since this inspection we have been working extremely hard to address the priorities raised in the Inspector’s report and make progress towards being the Good school we aspire to be.
