Salary: Scale Band E, Term Time Only

Post Summary: We, the Board of Governors, are delighted that you are considering a career at Broom Valley. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and committed Learning Support Assistant who firmly believes that every child, regardless of their circumstances, can achieve excellent outcomes. The staff team are passionate about their work and support each other in their aim to provide the best for every child, every day. All enjoy their work and participate, wholeheartedly, in the professional culture that pervades.

The successful candidate will
• have experience of supporting vulnerable pupils who have social, emotional and mental health needs.
• have knowledge and experience of running effective, specialised, intervention programmes across school to support pupils with SEMH needs.
• have experience of liaising with external partners that will support pupils with social and emotional needs and their families.

• is committed to making a positive difference to the outcomes of every child.
GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English required (or an equivalent qualification).
