Start Date - January 2026 to end of the school year (unless maternity is extended)

St Anthony’s Catholic Primary Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, child-centred and excellent Level 3 EYFS qualified teaching assistant with experience of supporting children in school. With excellent behaviour, a fantastic team of staff and children who enjoy learning, St Anthony’s is a wonderful place to work.

The successful applicant will:

• Take responsibility for supporting Nursery pupils as individuals, small group and in the whole class setting

• Have an EYFS qualification and experience, enabling them to be counted within our staffing rations (those who do not - please do not apply)

• Have a good understanding of the EYFS framework and Development Matters

• Know how to safeguard young children and make a positive contribution to their well-being

• Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team to achieve the above

All appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, and pre-employment medical clearance. In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE), online searches will also be carried out for shortlisted candidates. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
