VACANCY FOR AFIXED-TERMLEVEL 3 TEACHING ASSISTANT AT THE BLUECOAT SCHOOL

Salary: Meridian Trust Grade 6, Points 7-12 (£18,384.65-£19,994.27)

Hours: 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time plus 5 days).

Start Date: September 2024

This is a fixed-term contract.

We currently have a vacancy for passionate, creative Teaching Assistant, who thrives on helping students realise their potential at The Bluecoat School. You would take responsibility for adapting and delivering learning activities with individuals or small groups, alongside encouraging, and promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all students.

The Opportunity

  • Under the direction of the Class Teacher, provide specialist learning support to individuals, small groups, or children with additional needs who would benefit from a different learning approach.
  • Provide detailed and regular feedback to the Teacher on student achievement, progress, and other matters,e.g.,IEPs.
  • Implement agreed learning activities/teaching programmes, adjusting activities according to student responses/needs.
