Special School Level 3 Teaching Assistants - Permanent
NJC Level 3B - Points 7 to 11 (starting at Point 7 £13.69 an hour up to Point 11 £14.59 per hour)
£21,753 per annum actual pro rata annual salary (based on term time only + 5 INSET days and working 35 hours a week)

About Us
Ivel Valley is a special needs school and college in Biggleswade, providing education for pupils aged 3-19 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities.
Our school site on Hitchmead Road supports pupils from Early Years to Key Stage 4 with the majority of students continuing on to post-16 education at our College site at The Baulk, Biggleswade.
Important Information:
GCSE (or equivalent) passes required in English and maths (Grade C / Level 4 minimum) confirmed by certificates or results slip
These are permanent positions and working hours are 35 hours weekly from 8.30am to 4.00pm during term time only. Part-time requests will be considered for a reduced number of days, however the working hours are fixed.
Experience working in a special school is not required - you will be provided with a full induction programme to give you the training you need to succeed
