What skills and experience we're looking for

Pioneer Educational Trust has an exciting opportunity for a Librarian to join our professional and dedicated educational support staff team at Trevelyan Middle School.

We are looking to appoint a member of staff who has a "can do" attitude and is flexible, practical, pro-active, energetic and diligent to support our existing teams in delivering excellent service. The successful candidate must have a level 2 qualification in English and Maths. We are looking for an individual who:

  • Is highly organised and has excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Has an understanding of the services that a School Library offers
  • Has the literacy and numeracy skills to be able to organise library items
  • Has at least a level 2 qualification in English and Maths

Duties will include:

  • Being responsible for the day-to-day smooth running of the library
  • Assisting pupils and staff in the use of the facility
