What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appointment a Library/Resources Assistant to support our busy school library. The successful applicant will work under the direct supervision of the Library Manager, assisting with maintaining records, managing stock, and organising displays and events. The role will also involve assisting staff and students in the use or resources and equipment, and maintaining a suitable and properly equipped study environment.
We require:
- A team player who is happy to support different colleagues as required.
- Someone with excellent attention to detail and organisation skills.
- A clear and professional communicator.
- A good standard of IT skill, including use of Microsoft Office.
- Experience working in a school library or similar environment would be an advantage.

The pro rata salary shown is based on the number of hours and weeks worked and includes appropriate paid annual leave and bank holiday entitlements. The salary quoted is the annual salary for the position at the time of advert. The salary will be paid in equal monthly instalments and will be adjusted at the start of employment and again if leaving part way through the school year to ensure the correct salary is received for the work completed in an academic year.
