Little Angels Pre-School - Playworker job summary
St Raphael the Archangel CMAT are looking to recruit a Little Angels Pre-School Playworker to join our vibrant pre-school, Little Angels Pre-School (LAPS) at St Mary Immaculate Catholic Primary Academy. This is a permanent, part time role working 35 hours per week on a term time only plus INSET days basis (39 weeks per year).
Our pre-school is a joyful, nurturing environment where children are curious, confident and eager to learn. As our provision continues to grow, we are looking for someone who brings warmth, creativity and a genuine passion for early childhood development. If you are an eager learner, a team player, and someone who believes in giving children the very best start in life, we would love to hear from you.
As part of the Little Angels team, you will help create rich learning experiences, support children’s social and emotional development, and play an important role in shaping their earliest school memories.
The successful candidate will:
- be supportive of our Catholic ethos of the school
- have high expectations of all children
- have energy and enthusiasm with a positive attitude
- loves working with young children and understands the importance of high-quality play
- be warm, patient, and able to build trusting relationships with children and families
- work well within a team and contributes positively to a shared vision
- be organised, proactive, and willing to learn new skills
As we strive to become an employer of choice, not only will you be joining a progressive multi-academy trust, you will also receive a competitive benefits package, which as well as salary includes:
- Health & Wellbeing employee assistance programme
- Family friendly policies
- Access to an excellent pension scheme
- Access to professional qualifications and training
If you are excited by the chance to make a real difference in a growing early years setting, then we encourage you to apply.
Visits to our lovely pre-school are warmly welcomed and encouraged—we’d love to show you what makes Little Angels so special. Please contact Mrs Bhagate on 01926 493959 or email admin@stmaryimmaculate.straphaelcmat.co.uk to arrange a visit with Mrs Manton, our Little Angels manager.
Some of our roles attract a high level of interest and for this reason we review applications as they are received, therefore on occasions this means roles may close earlier than advertised; so early applications are highly recommended.
We recognise that a diverse and inclusive workforce is essential to achieving our core mission, therefore we actively encourage a wide diversity of applications. We are also committed to being an equal opportunities employer and will make reasonable adjustments as required for interview.
