Local Governance Professional job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and proactive individual to join our dynamic governance team. You will also have excellent personal skills and possess good literacy and IT skills. The position is well suited to someone looking for a flexible role, who is able to work to deadlines and who wants to learn new skills and be part of a thriving and supportive organisation.
Working together with our Head of Governance, you will be assigned to specific schools within the Trust, as well as provide additional clerking capacity to other schools as required. You will provide administrative and organisational support for governance meetings, helping to shape agendas, advising the academy committee on governance procedures, and general project management.
We're keen to welcome new entrants to the role so previous experience is advantageous but not essential. As part of the role, you will be provided with the training you need be able to access development opportunities.
