What skills and experience we're looking for

Tower Hill Primary School is a vibrant and community based primary school with a diverse and friendly demographic. We seek to appoint a full-time KSII Class Teacher who will join with our team to pursue our vision of excellence – and love teaching! As our children often face challenging circumstances, the task is not an easy one - but it certainly is a most rewarding one.

Our children are a delight who will make you welcome and take you to their hearts. We expect them to have the very best quality education in return: driven by inspiration, excitement and enriched personal experiences but still with rigorous challenge embedded.

Alongside the rewards of being with our children, we offer:

  • Varied and rich professional development opportunities – in-house and external;
  • support from our outstanding leadership team to continue your development;
  • collaboration across our dedicated, hard-working and friendly staff team.

What the school offers its staff

The teachers we seek will be rich in ideas, enthusiasm and talent which we do not believe lie exclusively in experience. Thus, applications are as welcome from NQTs who aspire, and demonstrate the desire and potential, to be outstanding teachers as they are from experienced colleagues. What is key, is that those who join us do so as learners themselves, who never stop wanting to develop.

Commitment to safeguarding

Our organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. We expect all staff, volunteers and trustees to share this commitment.

Our recruitment process follows the keeping children safe in education guidance.

Offers of employment may be subject to the following checks (where relevant):
childcare disqualification
Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)
medical
online and social media
prohibition from teaching
right to work
satisfactory references
suitability to work with children

You must tell us about any unspent conviction, cautions, reprimands or warnings under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975.
