LSA job summary

Prince Avenue Academy & Nursery (PAAN) are delighted to offer you the chance to apply to come and work in our wonderful school as an LSA. The role will primarily be working 1:1 with pupils who may have significant SEND as well as working with small groups to implement learning activities based on their personal targets.

We are a welcoming school with well-behaved, motivated pupils who are enthusiastic about their learning. You will have the opportunity to join a strong and supportive team who are committed to providing the best possible learning opportunities for our pupils and professional development for all of our staff.

We are looking for an individual who has:

• experience of working with children who have ASD and SEMH needs

• experience of working with children throughout the Primary setting

• good literacy and numeracy skills, using these to support children in their learning

• the ability to work with individuals or with small groups to implement learning activities

• a caring and empathetic approach

• a creative nature and a sense of fun

• the ability to work as part of a team as well as the ability to use their own initiative
