We currently have multiple opportunities for Lunchtime Organisers to join our fantastic central team at Orchard House High School.
These are permanent post working 10 hours per week,11.45am - 1:45pm during term time only. The starting salary is £6,030 and the full time equivalent is £25,185 Grade 2.
Orchard House High School, a new and growing special educational needs school which opened in 2025, is seeking to appoint dedicated and caring Lunchtime Organisers to join our central team.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support our pupils during lunchtime, helping to create a safe, positive and inclusive environment where students can enjoy their meals and social time.
About the role
As Lunchtime Organiser you will play a key role in supporting students with a range of additional needs, working closely with teaching staff and the wider school community. Key responsibilities include:
- Supervise students in dining areas and around the school
- Support healthy eating and encourage positive social interactions
- Assist with a range of lunchtime clubs (e.g. sports, arts, sensory activities)
- Attend to students’ personal needs, including feeding, hygiene and welfare
- Respond to minor incidents and seek first aid support where required
- Help ensure lunchtime is a calm, enjoyable experience for all pupils and staff

- Is willing to support students’ personal care needs with dignity and respect
- Experience of working with students with special educational needs is desirable.
