Kingsway Park High School is looking to appoint a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Lunchtime Organiser to join our support team.

You'll play an important part in ensuring that lunchtime is a safe, positive and enjoyable experience for our students. Working alongside the catering team, you'll help supervise the dining areas, encourage positive behaviour, maintain a clean and welcoming environment, and support the smooth running of the lunchtime service.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people, takes pride in creating a welcoming environment and wants to make a positive contribution to school life.

About the role

You will:

  • Support the smooth and efficient operation of the school dining areas.
  • Supervise students during lunchtime, promoting positive behaviour and good manners.
  • Help maintain a calm, safe and welcoming environment for all students.
  • Work alongside the catering team to prepare and clear the dining areas.
  • Clean tables and dining areas throughout the lunchtime period.
  • Encourage respectful behaviour and positive social interaction.
  • Respond appropriately to low-level behaviour issues and report concerns where necessary.
  • Remain vigilant to safeguarding, welfare and medical concerns.
  • Administer basic first aid following appropriate training.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide an excellent lunchtime experience.

  • Is willing to undertake relevant training, including first aid.
  • Shares our commitment to inclusion, respect and high expectations for every student.

Experience working with children or within a customer service, hospitality, catering or care environment would be beneficial, although full training will be provided.
