What skills and experience we're looking for

St. Joseph’s are currently seeking a Lunchtime Organiser (Midday Supervisor). This is an exciting opportunity to join the Trust at the beginning of a journey of transition, development, and growth within the multi-academy trust.

The main duties of the role are:

  • To undertake the supervision, security, welfare and good conduct of children during the mid-day break.
  • To oversee the dining arrangements, including the hygiene of pupils and the dining area.
  • To attend to minor First Aid needs of children in accordance with school policy.
  • To liaise closely with the Senior Lunchtime Organiser and class teachers on the welfare and discipline of pupils.
  • To respect the confidentiality of sensitive information from pupils and staff.

We are seeking an individual who has:

  • Experience of working with and/or caring for children within an educational setting
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • The ability to provide support with the medical care of pupils
  • A willingness to undertake relevant training
  • A flexible and dedicated approach to work and who will support the ethos of the school
