Lunchtime Play Support Assistant job summary
Alwoodley Primary School is looking to appoint a Lunchtime Play Support Assistant as part of their 'Platinum' OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) Team.
The successful candidate will work alongside existing lunchtime support staff to ensure the safety, welfare and positive engagement of pupils throughout the lunchtime period. The postholder will support the school's Outdoor Play and Learning (OPAL) programme by facilitating high-quality outdoor play experiences, encouraging inclusion, promoting positive behaviour and helping children develop their social, emotional and physical skills through play.
The role involves supervising pupils during lunch, supporting organised and self-directed play opportunities, maintaining a safe environment and contributing to a positive school culture.
