Lunchtime Sports Lead
About this Role
Part Time, 6.25hrs per week, 38 weeks per year (term time only) paid at NJC Grade A £12.65ph
This is a fixed term appointment linked to Sports Grant funding to provide games and sports activities during lunch times in school for all year groups.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Sports Lead to run fun and active lunchtime sessions in our primary school. You’ll get children moving, teach them new games and skills, encourage teamwork, and help referee friendly matches. If you love sport, enjoy working with children, and can bring energy and positivity to playtimes, we’d love to hear from you!
Ideally, you will:
- Be able to build positive relationships with children, staff and parents;
- Have good English and Maths skills;
- Have high expectations of children’s behaviour and be able to maintain consistent boundaries;
- Be willing to work as part of a team and have a good sense of humour;
- Be able to use your own initiative when required;
- Have experience in a similar role in a school;
- Have prior knowledge and experience of working with children with special educational needs;

You should have English and Maths to GCSE A-C or equivalent.
