The successful candidate will have;
- Good interpersonal skills with both adults and children.
- The ability to work flexibly within a team and motivate students.
- Understanding of the developmental needs of children.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality.
- First Aid & Food Hygiene Qualification and experience of working with children is desirable but not essential.

The Priory Learning Trust (Somerset Business Award winner for Employer of the Year) is looking to recruit a Lunchtime Supervisor to work at our West Huntspill Primary Academy– near Highbridge.
We are looking for a friendly, empathetic and caring Lunchtime Supervisor for our small primary school. The role will include setting up the lunch hall and serving lunches, supervising and engaging with the children during lunchtime, rewarding good behaviour and social skills and building relationships. This is an ideal opportunity to begin a career in education.
As part of this role, you will;
- Act as an integral part of the school staff team, and as such to make a contribution to the overall aims of the school, working within agreed policies and procedures.
- Oversee children at lunchtime and encourage healthy eating, good manners and positive relationships.
- Provide the appropriate level of support needed by students to promote and encourage independence and good social behaviour.
