Lunchtime Supervisor job summary

Wadebridge primary Academy are looking for a Lunchtime Supervisor to join our dedicated team working 1.5 hours each day 11.30-13.00. This role is vital in ensuring our pupils enjoy a safe, happy, and engaging lunchtime experience. The successful candidate will support pupils across the school, helping to create a calm and inclusive environment both in the dining hall and during outdoor play.
Hours: 7.5 per week
Working Weeks: 38 weeks per year (term time only)
Paid Weeks: 43.699 per year (includes holiday entitlement)
Rate of Pay: £12.60 per hour
Contract: Fixed Term until 23/07/2026
We are looking for someone who:
- Enjoys working with children
- Has high expectations for behaviour and uses positive strategies to support pupils
- Will uphold and promote the school’s values during lunchtime
Experience in first aid and working with children is desirable but not essential.
