Lunchtime Supervisor Additional Needs job summary

Sherbrook Primary School is a nurturing and inclusive special school for children aged 2 to 11 with a wide range of additional needs, including MLD, SLD, ASC, and PMLD. We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Lunchtime Supervisor to join our dedicated team as soon as possible.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our pupils by supporting them during the lunchtime period. The successful candidate will:

  • Supervise and support pupils in the dining hall or classroom during lunch.
  • Promote positive behaviour and encourage good table manners.
  • Assist with clearing away plates, cutlery, tables, and chairs.
  • Support pupils with personal care needs where required.
  • Engage with pupils in play activities, fostering social interaction and enjoyment.
  • Work with children who may have complex needs or severe autism.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday, 12:00pm - 1:30pm

Term time only (38.2 working weeks per year)
