Lunchtime Supervisor and Kitchen Support job summary

The post will include:

Taking temperatures and serving meals provided by an external caterers with due regard to food hygiene policies and procedures.

Clearing plates, cutlery and serving equipment which will be washed in a commercial dishwasher and ensuring the kitchen is left clean and tidy.

Supporting pupils during the lunch period with their lunches and promoting and supporting healthy lifestyles.

Organising games and activities in line with the school’s policy for enrichment activities.

Working as part of a team, forming positive relationships with adults and pupils.

Supervising of children before and after their lunch and playground duty.

Ensuring adequate supervision of the children at all times and deal with the needs of the children on a daily basis. Ensuring that the school’s Safeguarding Children policy and procedures are followed at all times.
