Bridgewater Primary is a welcoming three form entry school situated near Abington Park. We are a maintained school at the heart of a supportive and nurturing community.
Role:
As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring that children have a safe and enjoyable lunchtime experience. You will supervise children both in the dining hall and on the playground, encouraging positive behaviour, promoting healthy relationships, and assisting with any issues that may arise. You’ll work alongside a supportive team, helping to foster a friendly and inclusive atmosphere for all children.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervising children during lunchtimes in the dining areas and playgrounds.
Ensuring a safe, calm, and respectful environment.
Encouraging good table manners and positive social interaction.
Supporting children in resolving minor conflicts and promoting good behaviour.
Assisting with minor first aid as necessary.
Supporting children in activities to encourage positive play and social skills.
The successful applicant should have:
. A caring and patient attitude, with the ability to engage with children.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work well as part of a team.
A commitment to maintaining a safe and positive school environment.
. Willingness to train in first aid
A readiness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check (required).
