Sports Coach job summary
KS2 School Sports Co-ordinator and Coach
Required to start January 2025
34 hours per week. 8.50am -4.20pm (Mon – Thurs). 8.50am – 3.20pm (Frid)
Salary is pro rata (FTE - F £29,777 - £33,945)
Actual salary will depend on experience.
Bradwell Village is part of the Inclusive Learning Federation with Romans Field and Priory Common schools. We are a unique Federation comprising of an Infant, Junior and Special School which provides its team members with unique opportunities. Some of the hours offered may be class based supporting children’s learning.
We need a Sports Co-ordinator/Coach who:
Is passionate about making a difference to the lives of our children
Has the appropriate coaching qualifications for school
Sets high aspirations for all children
Raise standards of pupil achievement in physical skills, fitness and health awareness.
To organise inter and intra school sporting competitions and to undertake administrative tasks involved in school sport community events
To deliver the PE Curriculum and to have a focus on out of school hours learning
To be a positive role model, creating a positive and fun environment in which to motivate and encourage children to participate in sport and physical activity
Escort and supervise pupils on out of school activities
The children at Bradwell Village School have requested a Sports Co-ordinator/Coach who:
Is kind, understanding and passionate about all sports
Is strict but not too strict!
Is fun (but not all the time)
Knows when someone needs extra help
