Working pattern

Part time: 7.5 hours per week, term time only (38 weeks a year) The role will be during the midday break for children and hours will be 1.5 hours, probably between 11.30am and 1pm. Exact timings will be determined following recruitment and dependent on the needs of the children and young people who are being supported.

What skills and experience we're looking for

Brookside School would like to appoint a Lunchtime Supervisor for 7.5 hours per week, which will include working alongside the other lunchtime supervisors and catering staff on a daily basis with the support of the headteacher and deputy headteacher. The role is term time only, 38 weeks per year.

The job will involve working in school for the hours outlined below supporting pupils whilst eating lunch and leading pupils in games and activities whilst on the playground. Additional training may be provided in hours additional to those outlined below, for which overtime will be paid. This will include first aid and allergy training. Attendance at this training is required every three years as a condition of employment.
