Lunchtime Supervisor job summary

Lunchtime Supervisors - Foley Infant Academy or Brindley Heath Junior Academy

Term time 7.5 hours per week only plus training days

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic team players to support our children both in the dining hall, outside on the playground and if necessary in the classrooms.

The role will involve:

  • Preparing the dining room for lunch time, including setting out tables and chairs/benches.
  • Supervising pupils in the dining room during lunch time, on the playground or in the classrooms.
  • Dealing with any incidents which occur during lunchtime that may require first aid and reporting them to the class teacher/office as necessary.
  • Sweeping, cleaning and putting tables away and tidying up after lunch.
  • Collecting and returning pupils to their classroom.

The successful candidate will need to be fit and able to cope with the physical demands of the job, possess good individual and team skills and be ready to deal with a variety of situations and challenges.
