Lunchtime Supervisor - Part Time

Grade 1

£5,912 - £6,004 (Actual salary based on working 10hrs per week, term time only)

Catchgate School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Lunchtime Supervisor to join our supportive and friendly team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to help create a safe, positive, and enjoyable environment during the lunchtime period.

Key Responsibilities

  • To monitor orderly and fair queuing for school meals
  • To support reasonable recreational activities throughout the lunch break
  • To report any incidents of poor behaviour to the appropriate member of staff
  • Ability to present oneself as a role model to pupils in speech, dress, behaviour and attitude

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is friendly, reliable and approachable
  • Has a calm and patient manner
  • Can work well as part of a team and follow school policies and instructions
  • Is committed to the well-being and safeguarding of pupils

Connect Multi-Academy Trust is legally obligated to process a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check before making appointments to relevant posts. The DBS check will reveal both spent and unspent convictions, cautions, and bind-overs as well as pending prosecutions, which aren't 'protected' under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 and check to establish that a person is not barred from 'regulated activity' as defined by the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006.

Please note that we operate a probationary period of 6 months across all jobs in the Trust (see attached policy for further details). You will receive a comprehensive induction to support you to successfully pass your probation.
