Lunchtime Supervisor job summary

We are seeking a reliable and caring Lunchtime Supervisor to help create a safe, positive, and enjoyable environment for pupils during the lunch break.

Your role will include:

  • Supervision of pupils during lunch time periods; ensuring a safe environment at all times.
  • Ensuring any behavioural issues are reported and dealt with using the Academy procedures and don’t go unchallenged.
  • Providing support to pupils where necessary whilst assisting to develop their independence.
  • Facilitating team games and activities to keep pupils engaged.
  • Assisting with keeping a clean and tidy lunchtime environment.
  • Feeding back to the class teacher about the lunchtime period.
  • Reporting any potential safeguarding issues through to a designated safeguarding lead without delay.
  • Supporting the Academy in ensuring the safety and welfare of all pupils.
