The Governors of The Hednesford Hills Federation are offering the opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our wonderful nursery team at Hednesford Nursery School, Eskrett Street, Hednesford.

We are a very hardworking and committed team of professionals who work together to provide a welcoming, safe and “good” school.

We are looking for a Lunchtime Supervisor, who works well with both children and adults, to enhance our caring nursery team.

What you may be doing:

  • Supervising children before, during and after the meal, including the supervising of children to deposit leftover food from plates into receptacles provided.
  • Supervise children bringing sandwiches - to oversee that the debris left by children with packed lunches is removed/cleaned.
  • Summon help, where necessary, in case of injury or illness and provide basic first aid for minor injuries
  • Assist the children with their table manners and use of cutlery, and assist with the cutting of meat etc., for smaller children.
  • Ensure that the dining area equipment is hygienically maintained.

Hednesford Nursery School delivers the Early Years Foundation Stage through fun and meaningful play offering free flow and free play learning opportunities as well as focused group times making sure individual needs are met and interests are tailored for.

We provide for children from birth to four, open all year round from 7.30am - 6.00pm. In addition, we offer 15 and 30 hours to 3-4 years olds who are eligible and offer think 2 places for eligible 2 year olds.
