Lunchtime Supervisor job summary

“Growing hearts, minds and souls”

Are you looking for a rewarding part-time role in a charming village school setting? Are you eager to contribute to school life, in a meaningful way, and have availability for just 7.5 hours per week? Are you compassionate, hardworking and committed? Then we would love to have you on board!

At Trinity, we believe that children learn best when they can take ownership of their learning and are inspired by their subject. Therefore, we employ enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and supportive specialists, to deliver our engaging, innovative curriculum and inspire everyone to reach their God-given potential.

We are seeking a Lunchtime Supervisor to join our team and support us in our mission to provide the very best education and care for the children of Trinity. Please see the attached Job Description and Person Specification for further detail on the responsibilities of this role.

Following a successful Ofsted Inspection in June 2023, our school has received a very well-deserved rating of Good. Ofsted Inspectors commented that relationships between pupils and staff are ‘warm and considerate’ with pupils stating, ‘there’s such a nice, safe atmosphere here.’ Central to our success is our amazing staffing team, who work hard to create a calm, settled learning environment for our pupils, who are polite and proud of their work, with positive attitudes towards learning. We are therefore looking for our newest Lunchtime Supervisor to work to uphold these expectations and contribute to this environment.

We are seeking someone who:

  • Is enthusiastic, approachable, responsible, friendly and positive about their role in education and contribution to our whole school community;
  • Is committed to providing a safe and clean environment for our pupils
  • Is able to work effectively, flexibly and independently;
  • Is keen to support the ethos of a Church school.

In return, Trinity Primary School are proud to offer a ‘welcoming, happy’ environment, that places our values at the heart of everything we do – children and staff alike. Our Christian faith guides our decisions and attitudes and promotes the development of a safe, loving and caring environment for all to learn, blossom and grow.

Trinity school has been a proud member of the Peterborough Diocese Education Trust since February 2019, alongside 32 other schools in the Rutland, Peterborough and Northamptonshire area. PDET is responsible for employing all staff and managing the finances and other central services for the Academies in the Trust. These services include HR support; facilities and premises; procurement and school effectiveness.
