Lunchtime Supervisor job summary
Our happy, friendly Catholic Primary Academy wishes to appoint a Midday Supervisor in our school during lunchtimes.
The post is a permanent position for 1 hour 40 mins a day (8.33 hours per week), 5 lunchtimes a week, 11:40am to 1:20pm in term time only, starting as soon as possible. The role is to supervise the children during lunchtime in the playground, around the school and assisting with dinners in the dinner hall.
Training and guidance will be given to the successful candidate so that they can feel confident in their role. Please see the job description and employee specification for more information.
We are looking for someone who:
Is supportive of the Catholic ethos of our school;
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children;
Is a friendly and calm person in response to queries from children;
Has good interpersonal skills, relating well to children;
Is a good team player, working with other staff to ensure a positive lunchtime experience for our pupils;
Must have or is willing to complete Paediatric First Aid training.
