Lunchtime Supervisor job summary
Governors at Stoneydelph Primary School are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Lunchtime Supervisor/OPAL play team member to join our friendly and talented team.
Hours: 5 Hours per week, (39 weeks) term time only, permanent contract – Monday – Friday 12.15 pm – 1.15 pm.
Salary: Grade 2 Point 2-3 (FTE £23,656 - £24,027 per annum) = (Actual salary £2,764 to £2,805 per annum)

This role is primarily to ensure safe and happy lunchtimes with a focus on positive play opportunities for pupils.
The key responsibilities for this post are as follows (please refer to job description for full details):
To supervise, care for, and play with the children both indoors and outdoors during lunchtimes.
Promote good behaviour and polite table manners in the dining hall and around school.
Assist children in the dining hall and tidy all areas during and following lunch.
Contribute to the planning and organisation of the Lunchtime activities
Work with children aged 4-11 playing fun activities and games and all organising necessary any equipment.
Assist school in establishing an exciting, purposeful and safe lunchtime environment, which enables children to feel secure and happy.
Build positive relationships with the pupils by being friendly and approachable, and prioritise their well-being and welfare during lunchtimes
Encourage excellent lunchtime behaviour and address any incidents by following the Behaviour and Relationships policy
Work co-operatively alongside other members of the lunchtime team and wider school staff.
Encourage and provide positive play opportunities for pupils (OPAL)
