Wraparound Assistant job summary

St Gregory’s Catholic Primary School is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Wraparound Assistant to join our dedicated team. This rewarding role involves supporting pupils in our Breakfast and After School provision, helping to create a safe, nurturing and engaging environment beyond the school day.

Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only
Hours: 18.75 hours per week

  • Mornings: 7:30am - 8:45am
  • Afterschool: 3:00pm - 5:30pm

We would consider splitting the morning and afternoon sessions for the right candidate.

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Provide a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment for all children
  • Support children’s play, learning and social development through creative and engaging activities
  • Promote positive behaviour in line with school policies
  • Follow safeguarding procedures at all times
  • Prepare and supervise snacks in accordance with health and safety guidance
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
  • Work effectively as part of a team, bringing energy and initiative
  • Demonstrate reliability, flexibility and a genuine passion for working with children
