2025 is an exciting year for Glenvale Primary School as we embark on a brand-new chapter - and you could be part of our success!

We are excited to be recruiting for a new Lunchtime Supervisor, to join our growing community. The ideal candidate will work with a caring, passionate and professional attitude, recognising the importance of this role within our school, to ensure safety, behaviour and organisation. Through this appointment, we hope to strengthen the support we provide all children, to enable their development, both academically and emotionally. We are therefore looking to appoint someone who shares in this enthusiasm and can contribute effectively to our vision. We are committed to inspiring our children to learn within a kind, caring and nurturing environment following key Christian values and Jesus’ example.

We have been proud to be part of the Wilby community for over 170 years, but in 2023 we secured the opportunity to move into a fantastic new purpose build school building, in the Glenvale Park development. We moved to this new space in September 2024 and so, there is now no better time to join our community as a Lunchtime Supervisor.

If you eager to contribute to school life in a meaningful way, this could be the perfect role for you.

We are seeking someone who:

  • Is enthusiastic, approachable, friendly and positive about their contribution to our whole school community;
  • Has the ability to work effectively, flexibly and independently
  • Shows initiative and creativity in different situations;
  • Is passionate about children’s safety and well-being;
  • Is keen to support the ethos of a Church school.

Please see the attached Job Description to review all details of this role.

We can offer you:

  • A working atmosphere that is very much like one big family, from the children to the parents, staff and Governors. Every child is known by their name by every member of staff.
  • A school with six key values embedded in our everyday school life - Compassion, Forgiveness, Friendship, Hope, Serving Others and Thankfulness.
  • An exciting opportunity to work within the wider aspirational SLT team that want to embrace your talents and skills.
  • Excellent CPD through being part of the Peterborough Diocesan Academy (PDET).

The Glenvale CE Primary School is a proud member of the Peterborough Diocese Education Trust since April 2025, alongside 35 other local primary schools across Northamptonshire, Rutland and Peterborough. PDET is responsible for employing all staff and provides wider access and development opportunities and a number of different Wellbeing Resources including a brand-new discounts site Vivup!
