What skills and experience we're looking for

Our adopted college motto is ‘Believing is achieving’, which resonates through everything we do at The Hive and it’s at the heart of what we want our students to aspire to. With this in mind, we are looking to recruit a Lunchtime Supervisor to support our students at lunchtime.

The right candidate will have:

  • The ability to support our values and ethos and be a positive role model.
  • A clear understanding of engaging with young adults with SEND needs.
  • Enthusiasm and energy to their role.
  • A flexible and positive approach to challenge and change.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Patience.
  • The ability to show initiative and work independently.
  • The ability to encourage students to improve their independence.
