The Board of Directors of The Rainbow Multi Academy Trust are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic lunchtime supervisor to support pupils learning at Trevithick Learning Academy. We are looking for a friendly, caring and reliable Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant to join our team and help make lunchtimes a positive and enjoyable part of the school day

As the successful candidate, you will support and supervise pupils during the lunch period, helping them to feel safe, happy and included. Whether in the dining hall or out on the playground, you’ll encourage good behaviour, positive play and social interaction, building strong relationships with the children in your care.

You will also help pupils with everyday routines such as hand washing, using cutlery and developing good table manners, while being mindful of allergies and dietary needs. You’ll support a range of activities and games, helping children to play cooperatively and enjoy their time, whatever the weather.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children, stays calm and positive, and can respond confidently to any situations that may arise. You’ll work closely with staff to share any concerns and ensure the wellbeing of all pupils, while following school procedures for safety and safeguarding. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day while developing your own skills within a supportive Trust that is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
