What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful candidates will have:

  • A good standard of education/ three or more GCSEs including maths and English at Grade C minimum or L2 literacy and numeracy.
  • Some experience of working with children with significant Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
  • Excellent and effective communication skills.
  • First Aid Qualification (desirable).
  • An ability to adapt and respond to the needs of the children.

  • Provide support for the social and the emotional needs of students, ensuring that they have a safe and healthy environment.
  • Provide the appropriate level of support needed by students to promote and encourage independence and good social behaviour.
  • Apply own strengths and expertise to contribute positively to the overall aims and objectives of the school.
