What skills and experience we're looking for
Permanent position starting as soon as possible - 8.75 hours per week - Monday to Friday, Term time only and attend occasional monthly Team Meetings or training - 11.45am -1.30pm.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Lunchtime Support Assistant to join our lunchtime team to support children during the lunchtime break.
Thameside is an inclusive and welcoming school, situated near the Thames river in Caversham.
The role will include supporting children in the dining hall, encouraging children to eat their food, tidying and clearing down the hall, and supervising children while promoting good behaviour and safe play in the playground.
You will need to be able to deal with challenging children in a fair and consistent manner and address any concerns with poor behaviour.
You will join an experienced team of other Lunchtime Support staff in providing a fun and safe lunchtime experience.
