Grestone Academy is seeking a committed, organised and enthusiastic Lunchtime Team Manager to lead and support our team of Lunchtime Supervisors. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a genuine commitment to children's wellbeing to play a vital role in our school community.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of lunchtime provision, leading and supervising the lunchtime team, promoting positive behaviour, and helping to ensure that all pupils are safe, happy and engaged throughout the midday break.
About the RoleAs Lunchtime Team Manager, you will:
- Lead, manage and support a team of Lunchtime Supervisors.
- Organise and oversee lunchtime duty rotas.
- Promote high standards of behaviour and pupil welfare.
- Work closely with school leaders to ensure effective supervision arrangements are in place.
- Act as a first aider during the lunchtime period and ensure appropriate recording and reporting procedures are followed.
- Support the recruitment, induction and ongoing development of Lunchtime Supervisors.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive and enjoyable lunchtime experience for all pupils.
- Contribute to safeguarding and child protection arrangements across the school.
- Has experience of working with children.
- Has experience of leading or supervising a team.
- Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
- Is organised, reliable and able to use their initiative.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Shares our values and vision for high expectations, inclusion and pupil success.
- Holds a first aid qualification or is willing to undertake training.
