What skills and experience we're looking for
Studley Green Primary School is seeking to appoint two highly motivated and passionate Mainstream Teaching Assistants to join their team. As a member of staff within our Trust, you will contribute to a collaborative working environment and play a key role in supporting the learning and development of all pupils.
You will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of the National Curriculum alongside the class teacher. In this role, you will help clarify instructions, support children in using learning materials, and encourage them to stay focused and complete their work to the best of their ability. You will play an important part in supporting pupils’ development in key areas such as language, reading, writing, and presentation, while also adapting activities to meet individual needs, including those with additional requirements. The role involves promoting a positive, inclusive environment by building strong relationships, supporting children’s self-esteem, and encouraging independence and good behaviour. You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to support individual learning plans, provide feedback on progress, and contribute to maintaining accurate records. Additionally, you will help prepare and manage classroom resources, maintain a safe and well-organised learning environment, and ensure the wellbeing of all pupils through effective supervision and safeguarding practices.
