What skills and experience we're looking for
We want to hear from you if you are a committed, highly motivated Teacher of PE. You will join and be supported by a highly successful PE Department with outstanding outcomes and will have the privilege of teaching fantastic students.
Candidates will need to demonstrate they are;
- An outstanding teacher (or an ECT aspiring to be outstanding)
- Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to consistently teach inspirational lessons
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Innovative, creative, enthusiastic – able to deliver results
- Ability and willingness to make a broader contribution to the life of Langtree School.
What the school offers its staff
Langtree is a heavily oversubscribed 11-16 school with high expectations of all students and a specialism in the Performing Arts. We are located in the south Oxfordshire countryside but within easy reach of Reading, Henley or Oxford. Academic results are outstanding across the school, and results in PE are excellent. Ofsted state that Behaviour and Personal Development within the school is Outstanding.
Langtree School would welcome applications from trainee teachers of PE currently studying for a PGCE qualification or more experienced teachers wanting to further their career.
