Management Accountant job summary

We are seeking a part-time Management Accountant to join our dedicated finance team at St Barnabas MAT. This is a crucial role responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts for all academies within the Trust along with consolidated accounts for the board. The role is to be based at St Petroc's Primary School, Athlestan Park, Bodmin, PL31 1DS

You will play a key part in the financial health of our schools, providing detailed variance analysis, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and offering essential financial guidance to Hub Leaders and Heads of School.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a management accounting role, with a strong understanding of month-end processes and financial reporting. Experience within the education or multi-academy trust sector is highly desirable. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills who is highly organised, proactive, and committed to accuracy.

This role is 14 hours per week 52 weeks per year - working pattern can be discussed at interview with a degree of flexibility
