Management Information Assistant job summary

Group Operations Management Information Assistant

Location: Remote / Home Based some travel

Salary: £30,014.40 - £33,508.80 Dependent on experience

Hours: 40 hours per week, full year contract

Due to our continued growth we are looking for another Management Information Assistant to support the Group Operations MIS specialist in the continued development and support of operational management information systems including Engage, SCR Tracker, Safety Culture and others as they come on line.

You will be supporting through a structured support desk, system development, training, development of user guides, stakeholder workshops and consultation and quality assurance of use of applications across the business.

Key accountabilities:

Ensuring that confidentiality is appropriately maintained at all times and that regulatory and legal requirements are met:

  • Support services with matters reported through the service desk.
  • Support with change requests, development and testing.
  • Ensure integrity through regular quality data audit processes to include feedback to the relevant users/managers and undertaking adjustments to processes as necessary
  • Train new users and managers as required and existing Administrators for new processor and/or where additional support is required
  • Liaise with key stakeholders, OD’s primarily, Heads and Principals and exec to understand how systems can support smooth service operations
  • Work with new and mature services to ensure staff understand how to use the systems and the associated benefits
  • Develop systems which responds to requests for support, change management and troubleshooting in a timely manner
  • Undertake full range of reporting both using the nominated systems and others tools as necessary to support the business
  • Liaise with the relevant teams to gain feedback and requirements to develop systems across the group.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience of using and supporting management information systems
  • Good understanding of systems, processes and implementation of change
  • High level of literacy and numeracy.
  • High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office packages such as Excel, Word, Outlook, or equivalent systems and interest in and ability to learn other systems and packages.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to work autonomously and on own initiative
  • Ability to manage own time to deal with multiple tasks effectively
  • High levels of interpersonal ability with excellent written and verbal communication
  • High levels of confidentiality and ability to deal with all matters in line with data protection including ability to decline sharing of information without authority
  • Able to deliver training and develop necessary training tools
