Marketing and Executive Assistant job summary
Are you a creative thinker with a passion for education?
Are you a clear and succinct communicator who can work with a range of audiences?
Are you comfortable using a variety of media?
We’re looking for a full-time Marketing and Executive Assistant. Could that be you?
About the role:
This is a role with breadth, one in which your responsibilities will cover the central team whilst also supporting our community of 43 schools within Oxfordshire and Berkshire. That could involve anything from online content to written publications, delivering a planned approach through to having to respond at pace to a situation. It’s unlikely that one day will be the same as the next. You will work closely with the CEO, cross-functionally with members of the central team, with our school communities and with external agencies such as the DfE. Whilst our office base is in Wantage, the role will involve hybrid working- a combination of working from office, schools and home.
About you:
We’re looking for someone who is a self-starter, able to work independently but also contribute to the work of a wider team. Whilst previous experience would be helpful, the ability to demonstrate motivation for the role, the potential to develop and shape it, and a shared commitment to our vision and values are of greater importance to us.
About us:
ODST schools supports 8,500 pupils across Oxfordshire and Berkshire, over 43 sites. Our people are passionate about providing the best educational experience possible and our central team is committed to serving our member schools so that they can in turn serve their local communities. We can offer you a flexible approach to work, access to a pension scheme with employer contributions of over 20%, a generous annual leave allowance and, most importantly, the opportunity to collaborate with people whose focus is on enabling others to thrive.
The Oxford Diocesan Schools Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share in this commitment. All post holders in regulated activity are subject to appropriate vetting procedures and a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Enhanced check.
