What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher to join our team of committed and friendly staff to teach a Year 1 class full time in our school from January 2026 to cover a teacher going on maternity leave. This post is fixed term for two terms, with the option to become permanent depending on the staffing structure for September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, dynamic and nurturing teacher to join our school in Year 1. Covering for a member of staff on maternity leave, the successful candidate will work with our lovely group of Year 1 children, supported by three other class teachers, a Year 1 Teaching Assistant Team, the KS1 Phase Leader and SLT.
