Are you an enthusiastic and highly motivated classroom teacher?

Somerby Primary School has a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a part time teaching position to cover ppa and management time across all 3 classes in our “small but mighty” school.

This role is a one-year, temporary maternity position, with potential for a permanent position within our Trust at the end of the term.

We are looking for the successful candidate to start in January 2023.

The role is a part time (0.5FTE) and temporary and not suitable for an ECT.

About the Mowbray Education Trust

The Mowbray Education Trust (MET) is a multi-academy trust currently educating around 2,500 children from the age of 2 to 16 in the town of Melton Mowbray and surrounding villages in the Borough of Melton.  The MET currently has one secondary school, five primary schools and one pre-school; with potential numerical and geographical growth in the future.

Melton Mowbray is a rural market town in Leicestershire which is easily commutable from Grantham, Leicester, Loughborough, Nottingham and Oakham.

The MET has a central support services team, with staff managing Estates, Finance, HR, IT and Operations, across our schools.  The central team are based at offices within John Ferneley College in Melton Mowbray.

We are seeking to appoint a temporary one-year, part-time (0.5 FTE) ppa teacher to start January 2023.

The salary will be dependent on experience but will follow the main pay scale for teachers.
