Wishmore Cross Academy, part of the Academies Enterprise Trust (AET), is a residential special school in Chobham, Surrey, for boys aged 9 to 16 years who have social, emotional and mental health difficulties. We can admit up to 70 boys and can offer up to 14 residential places (including extended days) on a flexible basis for up to 4 nights per week.

We could offer additional responsibility and potentially a Middle Leadership opportunity for an experienced Mathematics Teacher who was looking for career progression within a rewarding setting.

Working with us:

We are looking for a passionate, motivated and dedicated Maths Teacher

You will work with our young people and help them achieve the best possible outcomes
across our Maths department. You will have passion and flexibility in order to deliver a creative, inspirational curriculum.

Teach First and AET (the multi-academy trust that we are part of) are delighted to be partnering for the expansion of the Early Carer Framework programme for September 2020. For any NQTs joining us this year, this will help you thrive and support you in the early stages of your career with AET.

The successful candidate will have a good degree and some knowledge of specific learning difficulties and a variety of behaviour management strategies to support children would be an advantage.

Commitment to safeguarding

Once the member of staff joins our school, they complete online Safeguarding training provided by Educare and sign an online AET Code of Conduct. Refresher training is provided every academic year by either one of the safeguarding team or an outside provider.
